How to check if the magnetic of the magnetic drill meets the standard?

You can check and confirm whether the magnetic attraction of the magnetic drill meets the standard by the following methods:

**1. Check product parameters**

Before purchasing a magnetic drill, you can check the product manual or consult the salesperson to understand the magnetic attraction parameters of the magnetic drill. The magnetic attraction is generally expressed in Newtons (N). Choose a magnetic drill with appropriate magnetic attraction according to different usage requirements. For example, for general metal processing, a magnetic drill with a magnetic attraction of more than 10000N may be more suitable; if you need to drill holes in thicker metal materials or work on inclined surfaces, you may need a product with a greater magnetic attraction, such as 15000N or even higher.

**2. Actual test of adsorption force**

1. Prepare test materials

- Choose a metal plate with moderate thickness and flat surface, such as a steel plate with a thickness of 10-20 mm. The size of the steel plate should be large enough to ensure that the magnetic drill can be stably adsorbed on it. At the same time, prepare a dynamometer to measure the pulling force.

2. Adsorption test

- Place the magnetic drill on the metal plate, turn on the magnetic switch, and let the magnetic drill adsorb on the metal plate. Make sure that the magnetic base and the metal plate are in close contact without gaps or impurities.

- Wait for a while to allow the magnetic attraction of the magnetic drill to fully play its role. Then, use the dynamometer to slowly pull the magnetic drill in a direction perpendicular to the metal plate, gradually increasing the pulling force until the magnetic drill is separated from the metal plate. Record the pulling force value displayed by the dynamometer at this time, which is the actual adsorption force of the magnetic drill.

3. Comparison judgment

- Compare the actual measured adsorption force with the magnetic attraction force parameter marked on the product manual. If the actual adsorption force is close to or exceeds the marked magnetic attraction force parameter, it means that the magnetic attraction force of the magnetic drill meets the standard. If the actual adsorption force is significantly less than the marked parameter, there may be damage to the magnetic base, quality problems or improper operation.

**Three, observe the working stability**

1. No-load operation test

- Turn on the magnetic drill and let it run for a while without drilling. Observe whether the magnetic drill has obvious shaking or displacement during operation. If the magnetic drill can be stably adsorbed on the metal surface without shaking or displacement, it means that the magnetic attraction is strong and stable.

- You can gently push the magnetic drill to feel the size of its adsorption force. If it takes a lot of force to push the magnetic drill, it means that the magnetic attraction is good.

2. Drilling test

- During the actual drilling operation, observe the stability of the magnetic drill during the drilling process. If the magnetic drill can be firmly adsorbed on the workpiece without displacement or shaking due to the reaction force of drilling, it means that the magnetic attraction meets the standard.

- Pay attention to the quality of the drilling, such as whether the hole diameter is uniform and whether the hole wall is smooth. If the drilling quality is good and there is no drilling deviation or other problems caused by the instability of the magnetic drill, it can also indirectly indicate that the magnetic attraction meets the requirements.
